Twitter is now allowing users to post various types of visual content in a single tweet, according to recent reports. Starting Wednesday, Oct. 5, the microblogging site will let you combine GIFs, videos, and images in just one post.

Twitter can now let users post four media in one tweet thanks to the new update.
Twitter said on its blog post that all users are now capable of combining various types of attachments per tweet.

The combination of photos, GIFs, and clips is now a thing at present which gives more freedom to everyone who loves expressing themselves on social media.
"We're always looking for new and exciting ways to help creators share more and be seen. Mixing different types of visual content together in a single Tweet allows creators to express themselves beyond 280 characters and gives them more ways to tell their story," Twitter wrote on its recent blog.
This new feature is said to have started back in July, per Tech Times. At that time, the report said that Twitter was experimenting with a feature that will give more control to the users when it comes to tweets.
The mixed media update is not so special as any other complicated feature. It's literally just posting four media on a single post so your followers can see what's inside your mind at the moment.
Limitations of Twitter Mixed Media
In another report by 9to5Mac, there's a limitation behind this update. Although users are free to select any photos, videos, or GIFs on their feed, they could only mix up to four media in a single tweet.
Apart from that, Twitter has exclusively rolled out the feature to iOS and Android users. Until now, we have no idea when the mixed media update will be available to Windows and Mac users.
Twitter has been continuously introducing more features over the past months. With the successful acquisition of Elon Musk of the social media app, we expect more features are coming before 2022 ends.
Earlier this week, the social media giant launched the Edit option for tweets. However, the catch is that it's only available for the Blue subscribers.
For smartphone users, Twitter announced that you can now view clips in full-screen and vertical mode.

How to Mix GIFs, Clips, and Pictures in One Tweet
This process is straightforward and you won't be required to do a fancy ritual to come up with the outcome. All you need to do is to click the media icon and choose the type of content you want to post on your feed, per Digital Trends.
At once, you can select a photo, a video, and a GIF or two clips and two images in just one go. The combination will depend on your needs, but Twitter says that it's aimed to help content creators get more engagement with their audiences.
