With the newly-improved tools, TikTok users can have more options for editing their videos.

Despite the emergence of different short-video platforms, TikTok remains one of the most dominant sites for entertainment clips all over the internet.

TikTok has a huge user base, and from here, the company predicts that there will be 1.8 billion monthly users of the app by the end of 2022.

This week, the surge of users is expected to happen since the platform has brought something new for content creators and storytellers.

With the new lineup of editing tools, here's what you can do with them:

  • Edit clips: Stacking, trimming, and splitting the video parts are now made easier.
  • Edit sounds: You can set how long the sound will play in the background. Cutting and trimming the audio is applicable.
  • Edit and position text: Just like in audio, you can now edit and set the text's duration. Positioning your text is the key to a powerful storytelling element.
  • Adjust video speed: You can choose if you want to slow down or speed up your short videos.
  • Add overlays: Stacking with video and photo is now made possible.
  • Frame content: You should have no problems zooming in and out your clips. You can rotate them, as well.
  • Add sound effects: This is self-explanatory since the newly-improved editing can now allow you to include your preferred sound effects for your video.

Apart from that, you can pick your favorite music and put it as the soundtrack of your slideshow. With Photo Mode, your post can now reach 2,200 characters. This is a perfect avenue for content creators to express themselves to the viewers.

Just this week, TikTok announced that it would have 10-bit HDR video support for the newly-released Google Pixel 7 series, XDA Developers reported.
