Anthony Bold, through founding DRINK WATRTM, a sub brand of WATRTM,  has successfully identified an opportunity for an effective and design driven integration of technology into the beverage industry, and uniquely to his company.  His proprietary software supports the company's relationship executives with unique software to conduct transactions commercially or personally, link directly with customers to support unique activations, supports direct to customer distribution, and eliminates other unnecessary components of the supply chain. On the customer side, DRINK WATRTM utilizes technology to empower its customers to easily understand the utility of its products along with specified wellness interests, the design process behind its unique packaging, communicate more effectively with the brand, receive orders more effectively, and interact with the brand in innovative ways. 

Much like his counterparts in fields like information technology, big data, artificial intelligence, medtech, ad-tech, and fintech, serial entrepreneur Anthony Bold has identified a moment where he wants to utilize technology to lead the beverage industry toward a more technology and utility driven state. 

Mr. Bold recently granted Tech Times an exclusive interview during which he discussed the concept of BevTech and what the future holds for this disruptive new category:

How did you come up with the concept for "bevtech" and where do you see this revolutionary concept within the next 3 to 5 years?

The beverage industry is ripe for innovation. Processes, logistics, and otherwise are antiquated, and the current structure puts most of the power in the hands of retailers and distributors. There are an extensive amount of unnecessary links in the supply chain that adversely impact a company's ability to focus on what should be the primary goal. Which is, to add an incredible amount of utility to customers and to society. Through technology, and its proper use, a company can focus more on investing in quality products and innovations that better serve people, instead of trying to find ways to save from overbearing enterprise taxing along the supply chain. 

Each industry has been restructured to account for the future, it's time we do the same with the beverage industry. At DRINK WATRTM, we will not only lead the charge in innovation within the beverage industry, establish the bevtech category, but we will AND ARE SETTING THE NEW STANDARD which all future beverage, especially drinking water, companies will follow. 

You are known to be a design thinker with an eye for detail, people in your inner circle have compared your drive and passion to that of titans like Elon Musk; What are you currently obsessed with?

I don't consider people's comparisons or commentary on matters like comparing me to Elon Musk, or any other entrepreneurs, etc. It´s a distraction from the real things in life and business. I like to pay attention to what people need, and how we as a company can help support that need. I am obsessed with redesigning daily drinking water, to account for what people need. Needs such as, daily electrolyte support, daily vitamin intake, etc. I am equally obsessed in utilizing technology, to streamline customer interactions with our brand, support customers in gaining a simple understanding of hydration wellness, and designing great products that better serve people and our world. 

How is  DRINK WATRTM planning to integrate your bevtech philosophy both from a consumer facing perspective and also when it comes to operational optimization?

On the customer side, we have created unique touchpoints where customers can utilize proprietary technology to purchase directly from our brand, as well as learn about our products. These touchpoints are in the form of contactless activations spread throughout the cities we are present in, to advocates aligned with our brand, to on demand delivery of our products. On the business operations side, we have internal proprietary software that supports inventory management, supply chain management, and is uniquely tied to our sales teams, so that they are also more effective at invoicing, and collecting payments from our commercial partners.
