Digitalization allows companies and organisations to better engage their customers by following new trends and building products and services based on their interests.

Digitalizing a business means different things for different companies, but in general, it's about integrating software tools to enhance an organisation's operational processes, solve industry-related pain points, and bring valuable solutions/products to customers.

However, one setback for companies looking to digitalize their business models is that they usually don't understand what it means to go digital, or how the process unfolds. This is where ILI.DIGITAL steps in by providing organisations with consultancy services, evaluating pain points, digitalizing internal processes and presenting tailored solutions that can be scaled to full potential. This allows companies to break their legacy business model to gain an edge in their industry from new perspectives.

How ILI.DIGITAL is changing its clients

As a consultancy ILI.DIGITAL provides software as a service (SaaS) company as well as a digital business model transformation platform that specialises in creating and integrating tailored technological solutions for companies, including: gamification, UX design, 3D design, hyperautomation with artificial intelligence and augmented reality, mobile app building, and more.

The company takes care of overhauling of one or more areas within an organisation, disrupting legacy models and providing a better user experience for customers. But more than code, data, and automating processes, digital transformation also means a cultural shift. This is what's called Digital Mindset; new technologies across different fields are emerging every day, hence why organisations must embrace these rapid changes and experiment often with different technologies that can be successfully applied to their models -and, most importantly, be comfortable with stepping outside of their comfort zone.

So far, the company has worked with over 300 projects over a decade, following a pattern that has led the company's success, consisting of:

  • In 3 days, the company strategically evaluates and lays out a structured portfolio of new value propositions to bring a new perspective of a company's new business model.

  • In 6 weeks, five new fully-detailed business models are presented, ready to be implemented.

  • In 12 weeks comes the proof of concept with prototypes that disrupt an organisation's legacy models.

  • In 24 weeks, the validated prototypes are turned into real-world solutions with positive effects on the market.

  • In 48 weeks, it's time to run a company's new digital business.

The Digital Mindset in Action

ILI.DIGITAL was co-founded by Dr. Serhan Ili, an entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the engineering field. The company's slogan is: "We make corporates entrepreneurs again."

ILI.DIGITAL's digital solutions have already been tried and tested in organisations in multiple fields, including automotive, healthcare, and supply chain.

For the shrimp farming industry, ILI.DIGITAL built a mobile application that allows shrimp suppliers to keep track of resource, store and analyse data from shrimp production, an online shop to order commodities for shrimp farming, and a dashboard for delegating and tracking daily tasks on the supplier's farm in real-time. The digitalization of the shrimp ecosystem allows suppliers to re-engineer and optimise operations and eliminate various pain points, such as hefty paperwork, workforce scheduling, and lack of proper management.

Renolit, a German specialist in polymer solutions, collaborated with ILI.DIGITAL to launch an app to boost the company's sales process with augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI). The AR feature allows the company to measure buildings and calculate how many polymer rolls are required to film the related areas. Once the process is done, the app automatically generates an offer that can be directly sent to the customer.

Further, the AI allows the app to recognise a building's components when scanning it, measuring walls while leaving out glass surfaces, doors, windows, etc. Another feature of the app is providing product-specific knowledge. This way, customers can access tutorials about the foiling and a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) to check the project's progress.

Final Thoughts

In a world interconnected by technology, digitalization doesn't seem to be an option anymore for organisations and companies undergirded by legacy systems. It's rather an obligation -not only to facilitate a business' operations and solve industry pain points, but to better serve customers and know where important trends are heading.

Digitalization means transforming an organisation from the ground up by integrating digital tools to enhance operational processes across different industries. These technologies can be AI, AR, gamification, blockchain, and more, which are disrupting current business models with more transparent and efficient systems.
