Verizon customers who have been hoping the carrier releases Google's flagship Nexus 6 phablet will soon be able to buy the phablet. The carrier posted an image of the Nexus 6 on its site with the message of "Coming Soon."

Google unveiled its first phablet, the Motorola built Nexus 6 in October 2014 and began selling the phablet in November. The smartphone was the first handset to ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and its 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display is the perfect size and resolution to showcase the latest version of Android.

The Nexus 6 is currently available from several U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular. We reported back in October that Verizon would offer the Nexus 6 upon release, but the carrier still doesn't offer the phablet to its customers. Things are about to change now that Verizon has posted an image of the Nexus 6 to its online site with the message of "Coming Soon."

While Verizon hasn't posted any other information to its site in regards to the Nexus 6, its message of "Coming Soon" seems to imply that Verizon customers should expect to be able to purchase the phablet in the very near future.

The Google Nexus 6 features an ultra sharp 5.9-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad HD display with a pixel density of 493 pixels per inch (ppi). The phablet runs the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 3GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly. The handset is available with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and lacks a microSD expansion slot.

The Nexus 6 is packing in a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization), ability to capture 4K video and it also includes a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chat. Its large 3,220 mAh battery will provide users with up to 24 hours of battery life on a full charge, according to Google.

We'll be sure to keep our eye on when Verizon customers can expect to get their hands on the Google Nexus 6 phablet and report back to you.
