Fans of "bio-digital jazz" rejoice! While it isn't a new Tron film (yet), rumors are beginning to surface that a new, previously unannounced Tron video game is in the works.

The news comes from film composer Giorgio Moroder, who recently revealed in an interview with clashmusic.com that he and Skrillex were working on a soundtrack for a new Tron game together.

"I'm going to meet Skrillex next week when I'm back," Moroder says. "I'm doing the music for a game for Disney's Tron. We have about five themes, electronic stuff and let's see if he's interested in remixing or re-working one of the songs."

No Tron games were known to be in production, so it looks like Moroder in his interview may have said too much. Morodoer is best known for composing the score of Scarface, but he's worked in video games before. His music can also be heard in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. His partnership with Skrillex, famous for his electronic music, seems like a perfect fit for a Tron soundtrack. Disney's last Tron film, Tron: Legacy, featured a soundtrack from legendary french electronic group Daft Punk. An action game by the name of Tron: Evolution released around the same time of the movie and received less than stellar reviews.

Tron characters have also made their way to Disney's popular Disney Infinity video game, though the two characters are digital-only and so far only available in the iOS version of the game. Last year Tron actor Bruce Boxleitner said Disney was looking to release a new film in the series for 2015, though no announcements have been made on that front. Maybe Disney is settling for a game in 2015 instead? Either way, expect to be back on the grid sooner rather than later.
