If you've been thinking about making the jump to a flagship phablet but have been waiting for a great deal, Amazon's got you covered. The retailer is currently offering the 32 GB Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at a significant savings over Sprint's current price.

When Apple launched the iPhone 6 Plus last September, the company not only helped make phablets more mainstream, it was also a nod to Samsung's vision that began back in 2011 with the introduction of its first Galaxy Note phablet. While critics and Apple itself claimed consumers would not want to carry around smartphones that verged on small-size tablets, Samsung proved them wrong, and the Galaxy Note series has been a monstrous success for the company.

Samsung's current flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 4, went on sale in October 2014 and remains an extremely popular device thanks to its iPhone 5s-inspired premium metal frame and gorgeous Quad HD display. The phablet is also expected to receive a free OTA (over the air) update to Android 5.0 Lollipop very soon.

Sprint recently added the Galaxy Note 4 to its lease plans and currently sells the phablet for $299.99 when signing a new 2-year contract. Amazon is now offering the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at a significant savings over Sprint and is selling the handset for just $199.99 with new 2-year contract.

The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phablet includes an ultra-sharp 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a high pixel density of 515 pixels per inch (ppi). The device is powered by a fast 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 3 GB of RAM. It packs 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB microSD cards.

The Galaxy Note 4 boasts a 16-megapixel rear shooter with OIS (optical image stabilization), HDR, autofocus, and a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfie fans. It ships with Android 4.4 KitKat, is expected to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop in the near future, and has a built-in heart rate and UV sensor. Users will appreciate its large 3,220 mAh removable battery, which will provide up to 35 hours of talk time, and its very popular S Pen stylus.
