Samsung is about to debut the Galaxy S6 at Best Buy — according to rumors on social media. 

A redditor who visited the electronics store reported that "a guy at the Samsung desk" had seen the new devices at a Samsung event, and they would be available at the store in demo fashion on March 27. Consumers would then be able to pre-order one of Samsung's newest smartphones arriving via AT&T, Verizon and Sprint for April 10.

Supposedly, pre-order consumers will also have the option of getting another device for free, but no details have surfaced on what it could be. A reason why the rumored "extra device" may be part of the carrier offering is that Samsung has built in wireless charging out of the box. 

There is no information yet regarding the Galaxy S6 Edge, and what carrier T-Mobile may be doing with Samsung S6 or the Samsung S6 Edge.

Currently, Samsung fanatics can only get their hands on a demo of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in a limited number of locales, including Canada.

Samsung introduced its latest two flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress that took place in Barcelona in January. The ultra-thin handsets have a sleek metal and glass design and boast octa-core processors. New features include a futuristic notification for favorite contacts, which causes the phone to glow when someone important is calling, texting or emailing.

The S6 Edge boasts a dual-edge Super AMOLED 5.1-inch 2560x 1440 Quad HD display. Both handsets will be running off Android 5.0 Lollipop and come with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S6 will be available from U.S. carriers, AT&T, Verizon Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost Mobile, Cricket, and MetroPCS.

There have been no reports – or even rumors – regarding price points on either the Galaxy S6 or the Galaxy S6 Edge. A safe bet puts the cost, including a new two-year contract, at about $199 for the Galaxy S6 and $299 for the 32GB Galaxy S6 Edge.
