Would you have your wedding reception at your local Burger King?

While this might not be the ideal post-ceremony venue to many, it would be perfect for one Illinois couple.

This is one whopper of a love story: a man with the last name Burger recently proposed to a woman named King, and now the Burger-King wedding planning begins.

The announcement of Joel Burger and Ashely King's engagement is making headlines after the couple posed for engagement photos outside the fast food chain.

Even though it is tradition that the women's name appears first, having a Burger-King wedding was just too good to pass up.

Burger, 24, and King, 23, met in kindergarten, went to prom together and began dating in college.

The Burger King last name pairing was first noticed by a motivational speaker when the couple was in fifth grade. "As soon as he said, 'Joel Burger and Ashley King,' he started to laugh out loud and pronounced we were 'Burger King,'" King says.

Although they have been teased about it for years, King says they have "fully embraced our nickname."

Being in on the joke, they plan to give their wedding guests drink coozies with the BK logo on it along with their wedding date.

Thankfully for King, Burger did not pop the questions at their local Burger King and instead proposed to her at a lake because love should be in the air, not the smell of french fries.

Burger and King will wed in July in a royally romantic ceremony—that won't be held at the chain.
