Justin Bieber is reportedly threatening legal action against the security guards of this year's Coachella Festival after the guards allegedly put him in a chokehold and kicked the singer off the festival.

TMZ reports the 21-year-old "Baby" singer and his team walked to the artist's gate on Sunday night when they were stopped by security guards, who said they could not enter because the artist's area was already full. Bieber reportedly insisted, showing the guards that he was wearing the appropriate wristband to get into the artist's area.

Bieber also claimed Drake, who performed on the same night, personally sent him an invitation to watch his performance. The singer's team argued that Bieber cannot go to the regular entrance because it would be a security nightmare to have him stand in a crowd and be bombarded by fans.

While the security guards stood their ground in the face of Bieber demanding to get in, eyewitnesses tell TMZ that a female Coachella staff took the singer by the arm and told him she would escort him into the artist entrance. Bieber and his entourage, accompanied by the Coachella staff, began walking to the entrance when one of the security guards came up behind Bieber and put him in a chokehold.

The move apparently put Bieber's own bodyguards into a skirmish with the festival security before Bieber was ordered to leave the grounds immediately. Some sources close to the singer tell TMZ that he left voluntarily, but not without a threat to sue the security guards who blocked him from gaining access into the artist's area.

The incident is only Bieber's latest adventure into scandal land after he publicly apologized for his years of bad behavior at Comedy Central, where he endured two hours non-stop of comedians poking fun at his talent (or the lack of it) and his attention-seeking antics.

"I turned a lot of people off over the past few years, but I know I can still turn out good music and turn everything all around," Bieber said. "I've lost some of my best qualities. For that, I am sorry. I'm looking forward to being someone who you guys can all look at and be proud of."

Bieber is currently facing a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Alberto Julio Banos of Argentina, which requires Bieber to fly back to the South American country where he could possibly face one month to six years of imprisonment if it is proven that he ordered one of his bodyguards to attack a photographer in 2013.
