April 20, 2015 is the date the extended Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer will air in IMAX theaters across the United States. To get moviegoers excited, Zack Snyder has released the first set of official posters for the film, and we guess those in attendance will walk away with a free copy.
The posters show Superman with the Batman logo over his face and Batman with the Superman logo also over his face. It is not yet clear what these posters represents apart from the fact that both heroes will pummel each other at some point in the film.
If these posters are given out to those who attended the showing, then we wouldn't be surprised to see a few of them on eBay by Tuesday morning along with quite a few fakes.
The first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was leaked on April 16, then officially released by Zack Snyder a few hours later. The trailer shows citizens of the world being very concerned about the arrival of this alien, while other citizens would rather him leave the planet.
Superman's biggest problem, from what we can tell, is not the citizens, but Batman. The Dark Knight is seen with an angry look on his face as he prepares to go head-to-head with the Man of Steel.
It's the final section of the trailer that is the most impressive though. This is where Batman asks Superman if he can bleed. No doubt, it is going to be a worthy showdown between these two titans of the comic world.
What we really want to know is will Wonder Woman make an appearance in the extended IMAX trailer. It is one of the reasons why many are planning to see it in the theaters, and it is also the perfect time for Zack Snyder to tease what fans should expect from Princess Diana.
Out of all the characters known to be in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman is the only odd character out because we can't see how she fits in the story. However, we are confident in the writers to make it work, and work well.
