It finally happened: fans got their first real look at Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Sure, the reveal didn't go as Warner Bros. originally planned, but after what has seemed like an eternity, fans have an idea of what to expect from the first film in DC's cinematic universe. They also got their first look at the film's titular characters, with Superman's classic suit and Batman's powered armor being the biggest highlight out of the entire trailer.

That being said, there's still a lot fans have yet to see: for instance, Batman's not going to be walking around the entire movie dressed like a tank, and fans have only seen a single image of Gal Godot's Wonder Woman outfit. Thankfully, BleacherReport finally gave fans what they wanted: a fully-detailed look at all of the heroes' costumes.

We've seen the Batman suit before, but here, it's easy to see just how detailed it is. While Christopher Nolan's Batsuit was relatively slick and modern, Zack Snyder's is rough and textured - a far cry from the stealthy suit that preceeded it. From what fans have seen, it fits in well with what the film is trying to do - and, while it's different, it's not so much so that it alienates long-time fans.

If there's one scene that fans are looking forward to (other than the clash between our two main heroes, that is), it's seeing three of DC's most popular heroes on screen at the same time. For now, the above image is the next-best thing: all three of the film's costume, sitting proudly on display. One interesting thing to note: Batman's suit is noticeably larger than Superman's; one Warner Bros. executive confirmed that the Dark Knight will have a larger physical frame than the Man of Steel. Maybe Superman doesn't have all of the advantages after all...

Of course, Batman just wouldn't be Batman without his signature ride: the trailer gave fans a sneak peek at the finished Batmobile, but it was far from an intricate look. Thankfully, that's no longer the case:

Truth be told, it's a lot smaller and sleeker than most would have expected, especially following the tank-like Tumbler from Nolan's trilogy. It's even smaller than Tim Burton's take on the vehicle, but that's not a bad thing at all. It looks like it's built for speed, not just a giant tank or a flashy muscle car. Frankly, it's a mix between the two, and it definitely looks like a car made for crime-fighting.

The Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer did a lot to boost the confidence of fans, and a closer look at the film's wardrobe should only boost it further. While it's still far too early to tell if the film will be any good, it's clear that Zack Snyder and his team are doing their best to bring the DC universe to life - with any luck, the finished product will look just as good as what fans have arleady seen.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
