The 90-min. sci-fi thriller Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, is all set to take the box office by storm this weekend and, there's no reason why it shouldn't - Alfonso Cuaron's comeback movie promises to take you on a 90 min. ride of your life to outer space and keeps you on the edge of your seats till the very end.

The plot is simple - astronauts Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) and Matt Kowalski (George Clooney) are on a routine repair mission but find themselves stranded in outer space after their space shuttle get destroyed by satellite debris. Cut off from all communications with earth, and equipped with limited oxygen, Stone and Kowalski must overcome all odds to survive and find a way to get back to earth safely.

However, the movie isn't - Gravity is an inspiring and poignant story of the human being's indomitable spirit to survive when everything seems hopeless.

The PG-13-rated movie has its sad moments, that's only overshadowed by Sandra Bullock's emotionally-charged performance and Steven Price's haunting musical score.

This movie is destined for awards aplenty and when it ends, you can't help but agree that Gravity is a potent and provoking movie, one that submerges you in completely gripping cinematic experience by making you feel that you're out there with the astronauts, in the vast, interstellar sea, fighting for your survival.
