Apple's iPad Air 2 remains as one of the best tablets on the market, thanks to its powerful 64-bit A8X processor, ultra-slim design and Retina Display. You can score the 128 GB iPad Air 2 for $110 less than Apple is currently charging via eBay.

When Apple unveiled the iPad Air and iPad mini 2 with Retina display in 2013, the company chose to keep the specs of both devices identical, allowing customers who chose the smaller and less expensive mini to not have to compromise its specs in exchange for a smaller and lighter design, like the original iPad mini. iPad Air and iPad mini 2 both used Apple's A7 64-bit processor, the same highly praised 2048 by 1536 Retina display and internal memory configurations.

Apple decided to change things up when it launched the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 in October 2014. It positioned the iPad Air 2 as its top-of-the-line iPad, while the iPad mini 3 was virtually identical to its predecessor in terms of specs and design but added Touch ID as its main new feature. The iPad Air 2 is using Apple's latest and most powerful 64-bit A8X processor and an upgraded 8 megaixel rear camera in addition to Touch ID.

Since Apple does not include expansion slots on iPads and iPhones, some users prefer to purchase the 128 GB models to guarantee they don't have to think about managing space. Apple is currently selling the 128 GB iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi for $699, but those looking to save money can score the same slate from eBay at a significant savings.

eBay currently has the Apple iPad Air 2 (128 GB) Wi-Fi on sale for $589.99, which is $110 less than it is when purchased directly from Apple. The tablet is available in color choices of gold, silver or space gray.
