Breaking up is hard to do. But this service is making it a whole lot easier.

If you want to avoid your soon-to-be-ex like the plague or don't have the courage to confront them face-to-face, you can actually pay this service to break up with your partner for you.

This seriously is not a joke. If you have a "sorry, I'm not sorry" attitude, for only $5.50 you can hire the Australian service Sorry It's Over to handle your dirty work for you.

Sometimes both parties in the relationship can feel it coming, and end things mutually with even the hopes they can still be friends. While saying goodbye isn't always easy, chances are you two can actually have an adult conversation and end things in person.

But then there are times when you are blindsided by confirmation that your significant other is cheating on you, and no amount of wine or Ben & Jerry's can ease the pain.

Probably the worst way to break up with someone is by text or email — unless you are Carrie Bradshaw and got dumped with a Post-it note — but you may think that your partner deserves this way to end a dying relationship. So why not tell your partner that they don't deserve you by paying Sorry It's Over to break the news to them?

Sorry It's Over will break up with your girlfriend, boyfriend, mistress, husband or wife for you so you don't have to deal with "all that screaming, sobbing, begging and emotional pleas of 'just one more chance.' "

And at least you know that you will be getting your money's worth. The creator of the break up service, Kristy Mazins, previously worked as a bedside nurse, so she is qualified to use the best words to express your feelings and gently break up for you.

"I'm quite good at mediating people's relationships," she says.

For $5.50 customers get a break up text or email sent to your (former) partner on your behalf. Mazins provides customers with an outline of what she will say on their behalf such as "[NAME] believes your relationship has run its course," or "It is over and I could not be happier ... you will never find anyone as good as me."

Mazins will also add some colorful language to the break up text or email if need be.

Sorry It's Over can also send flowers ($77) or a box of tissues to the soon-to-be-ex to make the break up easier for them. The service's premium package ($66) will even send a person on your behalf to break up with your significant other face-to-face.

"People don't like the confrontation. People are scared of it. It's a much-needed service because it takes the fear out of breaking up," Mazins says.

For now, this "perfect service" for the "tech savvy" Gen Y, is only available in Australia.
