The much-awaited LG G4 Android smartphone has finally hit the U.S. shelves. We take a look at the pricing details for the major U.S. carriers.

AT&T

AT&T is offering the 32GB LG G4 in two hues: Genuine Leather Black and Metallic Gray. However, the pricing for both smartphones varies with the Leather Black option being more expensive of the two

Purchasing the Metallic Gray smartphone without any contract will set you back $629.99. Since AT&T is a GSM network, the unlocked smartphone will be compatible with other networks around the world.

Picking up the Metallic Gray LG G4 on a two-year contract from AT&T will cost $199.99. Alternatively, consumers can opt for the Next 12 plan with a down payment of $189.99 and monthly payments of $15.75 for 28 months.

Three Next Instalment plans are also available for the Metallic Gray: Next 24, Next 18 and Next 12. Availing the Next 24 plan means you need to shell out $21 each month for 30 months. The Next 18 plan will have you shell out $26.25 per month for 24 months and the Next 12 plan means paying $31.50 every month for 20 months.

Purchasing the Genuine Leather Black smartphone without any contract will set you back $669.99. Picking up the Genuine Leather Black LG G4 on a two-year contract from AT&T will cost $239.99. Consumers can also opt for the Next 12 plan with a down payment of $201 and monthly payments of $16.75 for 28 months.

Three Next Instalment plans are also available for the Leather Black: Next 24, Next 18 and Next 12. Availing the Next 24 plan means you need to shell out $22.34 each month for 30 months. The Next 18 plan will have you shell out $27.92 per month for 24 months and the Next 12 plan means paying $33.50 every month for 20 months.

To purchase the LG G4 from the carrier online go to AT&T's website. The carrier's variant of the smartphone hits the retails shelves on June 5. Buying the LG G4 outright from AT&T is the most expensive when compared to the other four carriers.

If you purchase the LG G4 from AT&T prior to June 25, you get an extra 3,000 mAh battery, a 32 GB microSD card, and battery charging cradle for free.

Sprint

Sprint is also releasing the LG G4 on June 5 like rival AT&T. The carrier is also offering the smartphone in Metallic Gray and Leather Black.

The full retail price of both the 32GB Metallic Gray and Genuine Leather Black LG G4 is $600 (excluding taxes), making it a tad cheaper than AT&T's pricing for the smartphone.

Picking up the smartphone on a two-year contract will cost $199.99, which is the same as other carriers.

Alternately, qualifying buyers can opt for Sprint's Easy Pay plan where you get the LG G4 for zero down (plus tax) and need to give $25 per month for 24 months.

If you take the Sprint Lease then you need to shell out $0 when you sign-up and pay $28/month for 12 months or $18/month for 24 months.

If you purchase the LG G4 from Sprint prior to June 30, you get an extra 3,000 mAh battery, a 32 GB microSD card, and battery charging cradle worth $105 for free.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile's variant of the LG G4 hit the retail shelves on June 3, a tad ahead of Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. It is offering the 32GB LG G4 in Metallic Gray and Leather Brown - making it the only carrier to keep this color.

Purchasing the smartphone outright will set you back by $599.76, making it the third best deal around after Verizon and U.S. Cellular.

For those looking for alternate options, you can pay zero down and $24.99 each month for two years.

T-Mobile is also throwing in a 128GB microSD card for free - a limited period offer. However, Unlike, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint, it is not giving an extra battery and charging cradle.

Verizon

The Verizon variant of the LG G4 hit the shelves on June 4. Verizon Wireless is the only U.S. carrier among the big five to offer the LG G4 in three colors: Metallic Gray, Genuine Leather Black and Ceramic White. Verizon is the only carrier to offer the white option.

Picking up the 32GB LG G4 without contract will cost $549.99, $199.99 on a two-year contract and if you opt for Verizon Edge plan it is $22.91 per month for 24 months without any down payment.

The carrier is also offering the extra 3,000 mAh battery, a 32 GB microSD card, and battery charging cradle worth for free for a limited period.

U.S. Cellular

US Cellular was the first to make the LG G4 available online and in retail stores from May 29. It is offering the 32GB LG G4 in three hues: Leather Black, Shiny Gold and Metallic Gray. It is the only carrier to be offering the smartphone in gold.

Buying the LG G4 outright is also the cheapest on U.S. Cellular as you merely need to shell out $510. However, this is what the smartphone will cost you post a $100 mail-in rebate. Therefore, be prepared to shell out $610 at the time of purchase.

Picking up the LG G4 will cost $99.99 on a two-year contract, but this amount too is post the $100 mail-in rebate. So effectively at checkout you pay $199.99. Those looking at the instalment option need to pay zero down (plus tax) and $30.50 each month for 20 months.

For those looking at buying the unlocked LG G4, pricing wise U.S. Cellular is offering the best deal among all the carriers - the mail-in rebate notwithstanding.  The $99.99 for a two-year contract from U.S. Cellular is also the cheapest option.
