Bethesda Game Studios has confirmed that Fallout Shelter, a mobile simulation game, will arrive on Android but "in a few months."

The free-to-play Fallout Shelter game was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released to iOS on June 14 just after the company's E3 conference.

Gamers play the game as an overseer and have to build as well as manage their Vault. A Fallout Shelter player also has to control people in the Vault and has the responsibility to ensure they are happy.

Residents of the underground vault have to perform several activities. The residents can also reproduce and increase the population. Parts of the vault have various purposes that are meant to help the underground community grow.

"Fallout Shelter puts you in control of a state-of-the-art underground Vault from Vault-Tec. Build the perfect Vault, keep your Dwellers happy, and protect them from the dangers of the Wasteland," stated the product description of Fallout Shelter on the App store.

The iOS version of the game is already out but the company did not previously provide any details about the Android version of the game. However, on June 16, Bethesda announced via Twitter that they are working on the Android version.

Many Android users would have hoped that Bethesda had launched the iOS and Android versions at the same time. Android users, however, will have to wait a little longer to play the game.

The iOS version is available as a free download and weighs 200MB. The game is currently available only in English and requires at least an iPad mini 2, iPad 3 or iPhone 5 running on iOS 7.0 or later.
