New Motorola Droids are apparently headed Verizon's way and a top-notch Droid 'Kinzie' just surfaced in some intriguing benchmarks results.

Motorola's Droid line, designed exclusively for Verizon Wireless, has drawn lots of attention over the years due to the devices' good specifications and long-lasting battery performance. The Droid Turbo, for instance, received high praise for its impressive specs and overall performance, with many suggesting that it should've been Motorola's flagship in the first place.

The company has yet to make an official announcement regarding its 2015 Droids, but last month word came out that two high-end devices codenamed "Clark" and "Kinzie" were set to hit the market soon. The Droid Clark will reportedly have a display similar to the Droid Turbo's 5.2-inch QHD screen, while packing a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor under the hood.

The other model, i.e. the Droid Kinzie, is now the star of a new leak that reveals some of its specs. German site WinFuture spotted the listing on the GFXBench database, which paints an interesting picture.

Sporting model number XT1585, this purported Motorola Droid Kinzie will apparently rock a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which would translate to a pixel density of 534 ppi. Under the hood, the device will pack an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor clocked at 1.9GHz, coupled with Adreno 430 graphics and a hefty 3GB of RAM.

Other specifications of the Droid Kinzie, or XT1585 smartphone include 32GB of internal storage space, a 20-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board out of the box.

If these leaked specs turn out to be the real deal, the upcoming Motorola Droid Kinzie will be even more impressive than the Droid Turbo, boasting a larger display, a newer and more powerful processor, as well as an upgraded selfie cam.

It remains unclear at this point exactly when this device will make its formal debut, or whether Motorola will launch both the Droid Kinzie and the Droid Clark at the same time. Neither Motorola nor Verizon revealed any details for now, but an official unveiling could be just around the corner. As always, however, take all leaks with a dose of skepticism.
