Although we're still nearly a year away from the upcoming movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, there's a lot of buzz surrounding the film going into next week's San Diego Comic-Con.

Now, Entertainment Weekly has released new photos from the movie in anticipation of Comic-Con, including one showing Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), aka Batman and Wonder Woman, as well as their cover image, which features Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in all her costumed glory.

This is one of the few shots we've seen of Gadot as the character of Diana/Wonder Woman, although we're still wanting to see more of her in her costume (and it's likely we'll get that during next weekend's Comic-Con).

The new cover of Entertainment Weekly is one of the first good shots we've seen of Gal Gadot in the iconic Wonder Woman costume since the film released the first image last year.

Not a lot has changed from that first depiction of the character, although some fans hoped that the actual costume wasn't as muted as they appeared in that first image. But as we've seen from the previous film, director Zach Snyder prefers those washed out colors over the more comic book bright reds and blues.

More photos released from the film by Entertainment Weekly also depict Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, but in this photo he's not yet bald. However, we know the character goes bald at some point in the film, so it looks like some event in the movie explains how and why that happened.

Affleck also spoke to Entertainment Weekly about his role as an older Bruce Wayne, comparing it to Hamlet.

"We accept that he's played by actors with different interpretations," said Affleck.

Affleck also spoke about playing an older version of the character.

"He's at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life," said Affleck. "There's this sort of world-weariness to it."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premieres March 25, 2016.
