Apple users have recently learned that Siri can recognize questions related to Caitlyn Jenner. The voice assistant will even auto-correct the question if the user mentions her former name Bruce Jenner.

The latest discovery shows just how much Apple's voice assistant is willing to support the transgender community.

When a user asks about Bruce Jenner's real name, Siri responds: "The full name of Caitlyn Jenner is Caitlyn Jenner." When the question is about Bruce Jenner's height, Siri once again mentions the name "Caitlyn Jenner" then adds the answer: "6'2" tall."

Notably, Siri recognizes the name "Bruce Jenner" but uses "Caitlyn Jenner" in her responses.

One user asked: "What gender is Bruce Jenner?" Siri responded: "The answer is female."

Since it is a new feature, there are times when Siri simply responds even without auto-correcting the question. One example is when the question asks about the year Bruce Jenner won his Olympic gold medal.

"I'm still learning about sports awards, but here's what I found about Bruce Jenner on the web," Siri replies.

When Siri is asked about Bruce Jenner's children, she answers, "I'm sorry, I didn't find Bruce Jenner in your contacts."

It seems like Siri's way of auto-correcting a question depends on the source she uses for the answer. When Siri is responding to a question on Jenner's age, she uses the information from Wikipedia and says, "Bruce Jenner is 65."

Still, Siri's ability to recognize and auto-correct questions concerning Caitlyn Jenner is very impressive and definitely deserves a commendation.

"I love that Siri corrects people about Caitlyn Jenner," tweeted maz (@Caras_Drums).

"things like Siri correcting people over Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner gives me hope for the future," tweeted penny dreadful (@penny_dreadfuls).

"Whilst Siri isn't transphobic with regards to Caitlyn Jenner, I asked #Cortana the same question and she called her Bruce. Grow up, Cortana," tweeted Tom Merryweather (@tommerryweather).

Caitlyn Jenner made headlines when she became the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2015 ESPY event. She received a standing ovation at the end of her acceptance speech.
