Marvel loves to sprinkle in Easter eggs and teases for the future of their cinematic universe into their films. We've seen it time and time again throughout Marvel's Phase One and Phase Two films. With Phase three officially under way, don't expect that trend to change anytime soon.

Captain America: Civil War will be the first Phase three film to hit theaters, and thus our first glimpse into what the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has in store. From the sound of it, we will at least be getting a tease for what's in store for Thor's next film, Thor: Ragnarok.

Lady Sif actress Jamie Alexander, in speaking with the LA Times about her new show Blindspot, had this to say about Marvel knack for Easter eggs:

"Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Avengers, Captain will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films."

What kind of hints? Alexander wouldn't say. She says she will have a large role in Thor: Ragnarok, but that Marvel keeps her partially in the dark about the future.

"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don't tell me certain things," Alexander says. "Because they know I'll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in Thor 3 and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can't tell you what because I'll get shot."

Thor's trip to the more-than-a-little confusing magic pool in Avengers: Age of Ultron provided a number of teases as to the future of Marvel's film universe, hinting at upcoming films like Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. We don't yet know exactly what Thor: Ragnarok will be about, but with a subtitle heralding the Norse apocalypse, one can only assume Thor and Sif won't be going on an Asgardian picnic.
