Gotham City just can't catch a break, and it looks like things are going to get much worse before they get better. Where is Batman when you need him?
Oh yeah, he's just a little kid at this point, though Fox's Gotham continues to remind viewers what is to come. These two new teasers for the second season of the show that have made their way online (via THR) ahead of their television premiere during the finale of Wayward Pines are no exception. Both feature a number of intriguing moments for Batman fans.
One teaser, appropriately titled "The Cave", features young Bruce Wayne following up on the discovery of secret cave. He says "You can't have the truth, unless you feel a true calling." Cue bat sounds.
The second teaser, titled "Hunger", is less obvious. It features Jim Gordon making some kind of alliance with Oswald Cobblepot. We also get a quick look at what appears to be some of the villains who will appear next season, as one character remarks how "monsters are coming."
That fits perfectly with the tagline of each teaser: "Rise of the Villains." We already know Joker will play a large role in Gotham season two. What other super villains might we see take center stage? We will have to wait and find out. You can watch both teaser trailers below.
