So far, only unofficial renders of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and blurry photos of what might be the device itself have been popping up online. But now, fresh from China, new images purporiting to be the very first high-resolution leaked photos of the Note 5 have appeared.

The leaked photos feature the blue version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with its signature S Pen and a camera bulge very similar to the Galaxy S6.

Although we don't really know if these are indeed photos of how the actual Note 5 will look like when it is officially released, some reputable leak sites say that this might be the real deal.

The photos that have been circulating show off the Note 5's sturdy metal frame and dual curved glass back. The photos also show, for the first time, the bottom of the phone, which has a microUSB port, a headset jack, the speaker and an S Pen.

As previously reported through leaked information, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM, an octa-core 64-bit CPU, and the Shannon 333 modem for LTE connectivity under the shell.

The device is said to have an eye-catching 5.67-inch Super AMOLED QHD display and support for wireless charging using the WPC and PMA standards.

According to top Samsung leak site, SamMobile, the high-resolution photos seem to back up what information has already been circulating about the Note 5 and it is therefore convinced that the photos are our first true look at the new device.

"The pictures have been leaked from China and show the device from all angles," wrote Adnan F. of SamMobile.

So now that we're sure we've got a pretty good look at the upcoming Note 5, all that's left to do is wait for the official unveiling of the device, which is set for Aug. 13.
