Samsung is holding its Unpacked Event on Aug. 13, where it will officially launch the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The spec sheets for both devices have just leaked in their entirety, confirming all of their hardware details.

It's getting harder and harder for smartphone makers to keep their unannounced handsets completely under wraps. Leaked images showing off the device's design have become the norm, and sharp-eyed smartphone fans usually know what to expect in terms of specs before the company actually officially announces its latest and greatest at a well-publicized event.

Apple, a company known for the great lengths at which it goes to keep its new products under lock and key, learned this all too well in 2010, when a tech website purchased a lost iPhone 4 prototype for more than $5,000 and showed it to the world before Steve Jobs got the chance. Since then, almost every highly-anticipated smartphone from the biggest players have appeared online in the form of leaked images and spec sheets.

Samsung is the latest smartphone manufacturer to see images and details of its next-generation devices leak online ahead of a planned launch event. The Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have already posed for a tipster's camera, giving us an up close and personal look at each phablet's design and color choices, and now, the entire spec sheets for the handsets have leaked nearly a week before their official Aug. 13 unveiling.

Details for what are said to be the complete spec sheets for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have leaked online. The Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus are listed by their model numbers of SM-920C and SM-G928F, which line up with recent FCC filings from AT&T and Verizon.

The Galaxy Note 5 will reportedly feature a 5.7-inch 2560 by 1440 quad-HD Super AMOLED display, while the S6 Edge Plus will boast a 5.5-inch dual-edge display. Both will pack an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, although the Note 5 was rumored to ship with an upgraded Exynos 7422 processor. The devices will also include 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a Mali T-760 GPU, which should make Android 5.1.1 run snappy. The models in the listing had 32 GB of internal storage (64 GB and 128 GB options are expected), a 16 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

Like the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus will no longer have a user-replaceable battery or microSD expansion slot, and they will use the new premium metal and glass design. The Note 5 will also include the S Pen stylus, while the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will not ship with or support the writing tool.
