Fresh off the production line, Samsung's all-new Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ are expected to become two of the best and most popular smartphones in the United States.

While the pair of literally huge handsets is not scheduled to ship to American shores until Aug. 21, interested buyers can now secure their new smartphones by preordering them from one of the nation's four biggest wireless carriers.

As expected, the carriers have already made their announcements about the prices of the devices. Although both phablets run into the above-$700 territory, each carrier offers various payment plans to ease the process of paying for the devices.

Verizon

At full price, the Galaxy Note 5 from Verizon costs $696 for the 32 GB version and $792 for the 64 GB version. The Galaxy S6 Edge+, as expected, is a bit more expensive at $768 for the 32 GB and $864 for the 64 GB.

If you want to make small payments in monthly installments, the 32 GB Galaxy Note 5 is $29 a month, while the 64 GB version is $33 a month. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is $32 a month for the 32 GB version and $36 a month for the 64 GB version. Verizon's monthly device payments require $0 down payment upfront.

AT&T

An off-contract Galaxy Note 5 from AT&T costs $740 for 32 GB and $840 for 64 GB. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is $815 for the 32 GB, while the 64 GB version is $100 more expensive at $915.

Under AT&T's Next payment plans, you can divide your payments into small increments of 30, 24 or 20 payments that you make over the next 24, 18 or 12 months. Under the payment plan, the Galaxy Note 5 32 GB will cost $0 down payment and $24.67 for 30 months, $30.84 for 24 months, and $37 for 20 months. The 64 GB Galaxy Note 5 will be $28 for 30 months, $35 for 24 months, and $42 for 20 months.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32 GB will be $27.17 for 30 months, $33.96 for 24 months, and $40.75 for 20 months. The 64 GB version will be $30.50 for 30 months, $38.13 for 24 months, and $45.75 for 20 months.

If you have an old device, AT&T will accept a trade-in for as much as $200, and if you are a DirecTV or U-verse customer and want to switch to AT&T, you can also get a $300 credit. If you are switching from another carrier, that gets you $100 in credit.

T-Mobile

The Uncarrier hopes to snag new customers with a free one-year subscription to Netflix if they buy the Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 Edge+ from them, as long as you preorder before Aug. 20.

However, only the 32 GB versions of both smartphones are available from T-Mobile, and that clearly will not sit well with storage junkies, considering Samsung has left out the microSD slot for both smartphones.

T-Mobile offers the Galaxy Note 5 at $700 off-contract, while monthly installments are available at $29.17 a month for 23 months and a final payment of $29.08. If you get one before Sept. 30, T-Mobile will slash down monthly payments to $25. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is $780, and installments are $32.50 a month.

Sprint

Sprint offers various options to purchase the phablets. Off-contract, the 32 GB Galaxy Note 5 is $720, while the 64 GB version is $816. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ is $792 for the 32 GB version and $888 for the 64 GB.

If you want a carrier-subsidized smartphone, you will need to tether yourself to a two-year contract. This brings down the price of the 32 GB Galaxy Note 5 to $250 and the 64 GB version to $350, while the 32 GB Galaxy S6 Edge+ is $350 and the 64 GB version is $450.

Under Sprint's Easy Pay installments, the Galaxy Note 5 32 GB costs $30 a month, while the bigger memory version is $34 a month. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ costs $33 for the 32 GB and $37 for the 64 GB.

Finally, if you want to lease your smartphone, you can do so for $25 or $30 a month for the Galaxy Note 5 and $30 or $35 a month for the S6 Edge Plus.
