During a recent Reddit AMA, Ronda Rousey made it known that she'd like to give being Ms. Marvel a shot, after being asked which hero she'd play if she were to be in a superhero movie.

Admitting that a lot of good ones had already been taken, Rousey picked Ms. Marvel. Fans quickly agreed that she'd be the perfect fit for the heroine, sending her artwork depicting the undefeated UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion as the Marvel heroine. According to Rousey, a number had been sent to her, all of them badass.

"There were so many cool ones I couldn't pick just one to share. Big thank you to the contributing artists," she wrote in Instagram.

Out of the many that founder their way to her though, Rousey picked artwork from four artists, sharing their work in two posts in Instagram. The first post credited users @bosslogix and @salman.artworks, while the second one gave props to @alexmurilloart and Hugo Dourado.

Ms. Marvel, or Captain Marvel, is also known as Carol Danvers. She was just an ordinary individual but she received superhuman abilities after she was caught in a blast involving a piece of Kree technology. After the explosion, Danvers was endowed with increased strength, the power to fly, high durability and the power to discharge energy blasts. After becoming known as Captain Marvel, Danvers moved up to become a part of the Avengers.

Marvel fans have been hoping for a female superhero movie thanks to Scarlett Johansson's work with Black Widow. Ms. Marvel has always had a following so she quickly became one of the favorites in the conversation.

Rousey, however, is not alone in professing her interest for the role as Vikings' Katheryn Winnick, Jurassic World's Bryce Dallas Howard and Edge of Tomorrow's Emily Blunt have also expressed their desire to play the part.

Marvel has not cast anyone to play Ms. Marvel but Captain Marvel is set to hit the big screen in 2018. It will join other Phase Three movies like Black Panther starring Chadwick Boseman and Doctor Strange featuring Benedict Cumberbatch.

If Rousey gets the part, she'll be adding Ms. Marvel to the roster of roles she's played in The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage. The Marvel superhero though will be her biggest one yet, if ever.
