It looks like Season 4 of The CW's Arrow will be going back to its comic book roots.

Filming for the latest season of Arrow has kicked off, and the cast posted a new behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram that shows off a change to Starling City.

Actors Paul Blackthorne and David Ramsey, who play Quentin Lance and John Diggle, posted a photo of themselves with their guns, flashing a police department badge that reveals that Starling City has now been renamed Star City on the hit series.

While Arrow fans already knew the change would happen this season after lead actor Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) made the announcement at Comic-Con International in San Diego, where he showcased his new costume, the Instagram photo is the first evidence that the change has officially been made.

While the city in The CW series has been called Starling City up until this point, Star City has always been the home of Green Arrow in the comics.

The fictitious city is known for its landmarks like the Star Bridge and the Star City Rockets' Papp Stadium, which was named after co-creator George Papp. Coordinates and zip codes used in the series reveal that Starling City is located in Seattle; however, conflicting details would map the city in the Midwest. Still, Green Arrow is known to work out of Star City and sometimes Seattle in the comics.

In real life, scenes of the city have been filmed in cities like Vancouver, Jersey City, Philadelphia and even Tokyo.

The CW will continue to be true to the comics by also changing the superhero's name from Arrow to Green Arrow, a detail that was also confirmed by Amell at Comic-Con.

Along with the name change and costume, Oliver McQueen will also get upgrades to his bunker this season.

Season 4 of Arrow will premiere on the CW on October 7.
