Tis' the season for athletic wearable tech. Epson recently launched the latest in its family of fitness watches for runner, the Runsense SF-110.

The watch is an update from the GPS enabled SF-310G, with an added daily activity tracker.

In essence, it's a watch for runners and hikers, helping record and measure steps taken (through an integrated accelerometer), calories burned and distance walked. Users have the ability to choose from three customizable, water-resistant watch faces – green, blue and black. These have nine different kinds of measurements that users can place on the watch-face in whatever way they like, including distance, pace, time, laps and altitude.

As is slowly becoming the norm with every wearable fitness device, the SF-110 too can connect to a user's smartphone (Android or iOS) through the Epson Run Connect app, in addition to compatibility with third-party apps like MapMyRun, Strava and others.

Although the device is waterproof, it doesn't provide tracking support for swimming or underwater activities. The whole thing can run for a total of seven days with the GPS on and 10 days with just tracking on.

The Runsense SF-110 is available now at a price of $139.
