Wonder Woman is certainly full of wonder in the latest issue of Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman.

Not only is Wonder Woman saving the world, preventing war and being wonderful, she also finds time to help out a friend by officiating her gay marriage.

In Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman #48, written and illustrated by Jason Badower, not only do we find out that Wonder Woman supports gay marriage, but that she's also licensed in most countries to wed couples, regardless of gender. Wonder Woman even mentions that on Themyscira, an island that only allows women, that it's not considered gay marriage, but just marriage.

This is Badower's first foray into DC Comics, and when given the chance to write for this Wonder Woman anthology, he saw an opportunity to tell a story about the princess of peace, love and justice. It made sense to him that Wonder Woman would embrace the new U.S. federal law that legalizes gay marriages.

"I saw this Wonder Woman story as an incredible opportunity to have one of the most recognizable, iconic characters in the world to be among the first to step forward and officially endorse this new law," said Badower to the Huffington Post. "But I thought, let's not just have Wonder Woman embrace this new law, let's have her celebrate it."

Meanwhile, Wonder Woman also stops an international incident by showing how words can fight war, saving the world over and over and over. Superman accompanies her on her adventures and marvels at just how much she does.

In fact, in #48, Superman finds himself so in awe of Wonder Woman and starts beating himself up a bit because he can't be Superman all the time.

Fortunately, Wonder Woman reminds him that the world needs Clark Kent, too, to tell people the story of what makes a superhero.
