Jennifer Lawrence is the girl on fire both on screen as the revolutionary Katniss Everdeen, and off screen as her pre-taxes Hollywood paycheck boasts. According to a list compiled by Forbes, J-Law has just been named the most highly paid actress today, with a salary of $52 million in 2015.

The list also named Scarlett Johansson in the above $20 million dollar mark with $35.5 million; star of the upcoming all female Ghostbusters, Melissa McCarthy raking in $23 million; and Chinese actress Bingbing Fan was the fourth highest ranked actress in Hollywood, with $21 million in paychecks.

The remaining 14 actresses on Forbes' highest paid actresses list, including Sandra Bullock who topped the list last year with $51 million, made below $20 million, which is in stark contrast from their male Hollywood counterparts who easily break the bank with much higher figures.

In fact, Forbes reports that while the highest paid male actors list was crowded with 34 actors earning a collective $941 million, it could not find enough women actresses earning enough to be placed on the list.

The 18 actresses included on Forbes' list only made $281 million in 2015. "That is a whopping $660 million dollar difference.” according to the critics of the disparity of the salaries female actresses make in relation to male actors' salaries.
