Microsoft has been mum about its purported duo of flagship smartphones dubbed the Lumia 950 XL and the Lumi 950, but even so, the rumor mill is not about to stop churning about the pair codenamed Cityman and Talkman respectively.

The latest leak to get Microsoft's loyal Lumia fans talking is a couple of images showcasing both smartphones in all their glory. While Cityman, believed to be the 5.7-inch Lumia 950 XL, has been leaked in earlier pictures, this is the first time we are seeing Talkman, said to be the 5.2-inch Lumia 950, in all its glory.

The first image was posted by German website DrWindows.de, which shows Cityman hooked via a cable to a black box that The Verge's Tom Warren believes to be the Wizard, the codename for a device that will enable Continuum, a feature that lets users use their smartphone as a PC when the two devices are connected to each other.

This is accompanied by another image shared on Twitter by reputable leaker Evan Blass, also known as @EvLeaks. Blass posted an image showing the front, back and side views of Cityman and Talkman. The phone in the blue case is purported to be Cityman, the Lumia 950 XL, while the black device is believed to be Talkman, the Lumia 950.

Although Microsoft has made massive cuts to its smartphone business it bought off Nokia in September, the company is expected to keep its line of Lumia devices to bear the banner for Windows 10 Mobile, in the same way that Google's Nexus devices do so for Android.

Earlier reports have claimed that the Lumia 950 XL will feature a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 20MP PureView rear camera with triple LED Flash. It will reportedly have a premium 2K OLED display with a 1,440 x 2,560 resolution, 3,300mAh removable battery, support for wireless Qi charging, USB Type-C and iris scanner for security.

Meanwhile, its smaller brother, the Lumia 950, will reportedly run on a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, with the same 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory. Talkman is also believed to have a smaller 3,000mAh battery.

Both devices are hotly rumored for a much awaited unveiling for October. Until then, it is always best to take these reports with a grain of salt, even though they may have pictures to back them.
