New retail images of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S have leaked. The images confirm some features like accepting incoming phone calls directly from the tablet.

Samsung is building up its tablet arsenal quickly. The company launched the world's first 12.2-inch widescreen tablet in the form of the Galaxy Tab Pro and Galaxy Note Pro at CES in January and is about to introduce two new tablets with high-resolution AMOLED displays. The Galaxy Tab S will be available in both an 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch display option when they are officially unveiled at Samsung's 'Tab into Color' event at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 12.

We've already reported on leaked images and specs of both tablets and now retail images have leaked that confirm some of the tablet's brand new features. SamMobile got hold of the Galaxy Tab S' official retail images and they reveal some new information.

One of the images show that users will be able to accept incoming calls directly from the tablet and it's very likely that feature will only work with a Samsung smartphone, just as its Gear 2 smartwatch only works with a Samsung phone. Another image confirms that the tablets will gain the Galaxy S5's fingerprint scanner, which will allow users to unlock the tablet and authorize PayPal payments with a swipe of their finger. It will also gain features like Ultra Power Saving Mode and Download Booster.

The Galaxy Tab S will also ship with a feature Samsung introduced with its Galaxy Note Pro. Remote PC will be built-in to make it easy for users to connect to and access their PC remotely while using the tablet. The 10.5-inch Galaxy Tab S will be extremely thin at 6.6 mm, as evidenced in one of the retail shots.

As a reminder, the Galaxy Tab S will feature an 8.4-inch or 10.5-inch 2560 x 1600 AMOLED display and will be powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 5420 processor and Mali-T628 GPU (graphics processing unit). The tablets will include 32 GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 128 GB microSD cards, and 3 GB of RAM. The tablets will pack an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, run Android 4.4.2 and Samsung's new Magazine UX.

Samsung is expected to begin taking pre-orders for both Galaxy Tab S tablets soon after the official announcement. The items are expected to hit retail shelves by the end of June.
