I won't pretend like I wasn't a little disappointed with Haier's announcements at this year's IFA. In past years the company has experimented with transparent TVs and mind-controlled remotes. This year, it announced an emergency watch for kids.

But at least there was this. Sitting on the outside of the booth were a pair of giant 105-inch curved LED TVs. I would say something about wanting one, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get it through the door of my New York City apartment. Heck, I could barely fit it in the frame of my camera.

The 105Q9000W has a resolution of 5120 x 2160 – that's more than 5K. It's also surprisingly thin. And, naturally, it's hard to take your eyes off the thing. That 105-inch curved and ultra frame offers an immersive experience as its curvature envelops viewers.
