OK, that last bit isn't true, but I may make a few more stops at the Dyson booth before the end of the show to breathe in some of that sweet, sweet air. The long-awaited humidifier utilizes ultraviolet light to kill bacteria in the water you pour in before transforming it into a healthy mist.

The 2-foot device continues the company's keen eye for product design and build quality with a cylindrical fan similar to the ones found on its cooling devices, spraying a mist evenly in a room with up to 172 square feet of floor space.

The humidifier also detects temperature and humidity in the room and adjusts itself accordingly in order to not overdo it with the humidification. And it does so with very little sound.

The device has been available in Japan for some time and is finally hitting the States, for $499.
