Minecraft: Story Mode will allow players to make decisions while playing the game. This means that every consequence they encounter will be the result of the decisions that they made.

The game was spotted as a listing at Amazon which said that the title will include the first episode. Purchasing the game will grant players with access to the game's upcoming four episodes once they become available. This means that players are ought to make sure that they have Internet connection in order to gain access.

"Players will control protagonist Jesse throughout the season, as portrayed by actor Patton Oswalt," said Telltale Games. "Jesse and his group of friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone, four adventurers who slayed an Ender Dragon."

It also stated that Jesse and his friends should go on a journey with the mission of finding The Order of the Stone in order to save their world from total oblivion.

Amazon also listed Minecraft: Story Mode to release on Oct. 27, 2015 in North America while the release in Europe will come three days later, Oct. 30. The site describes the game by saying, "You will drive the story through the decisions you make: what you say to people (and how you say it), and what you choose to do in moments of thrilling action will make this YOUR story."

The game also features the voices of a number of famous TV and movie actors which include Patton Oswalt (Ratatouille), Paul Reubens (Tron: Uprising), Billy West (Futurama), Corey Feldman (The Goonies), Martha Plimpton (The Goonies), Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series), Scott Porter (X-Men), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us) and Brian Posehn (The Sarah Silverman Program).

Award-winning Telltale Games is also working on other episodic titles such as The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones. The company also announced of a partnership with Marvel Comics in April 2015.

Minecraft: Story Mode will be available in a number of platforms that include PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, Android and iOS. According to Amazon, the game will retail at $30.

If the release date of Oct. 27 will push through, the game will have to face competition with other titles that are also releasing on the same date. This will include titles such as Halo 5: Guardians and WWE 2K16.
