There's still another full day left of IFA, but here at Tech Times we've already seen all there is to see at Europe's largest consumer electronics show. Five days drinking black coffee at the Berlin Messe did the trick.

While the show was, perhaps, not as large as past years, in terms of big announcements (thanks, big companies like Samsung and Sony, who opted to roll out products ahead of the event), there were still plenty of solid stories from this years show – in fact, by my count, this is my 85th story for the week.

Naturally, I don't except anyone (save for our tireless copy editors) to crawl through all of them, so for the sake of brevity – and letting everyone catch a quick break ahead of next week's big Apple announcement – here are some of the highlights from the show that was.

Phones

Sony Z5 Compact: Sony crams its flagship handset into a 4.6-inch device and doesn't spare on the specs, including a premium build, robust battery life, and waterproof casing.

Huawei Mate S: Huawei beats Apple to the Force Touch punch – and does so in a lovely little handset with all the fixings.

Marshall London: Easily one of the biggest surprises of the show: Marshall announces a smartphone – and it looks great.

Tablets

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3: Lenovo's strange little convertible tablet gets even stranger with the addition of a projector capable of creating images up to 70-inches. It's a device with no shortage of fascinating tricks.

Lenovo Phab Plus: Silly name aside, Lenovo actually built an extremely solid 6.8-inch device. Whether anyone actually needs such a thing in their life, however, remains to be seen.

Wearables

Samsung Gear S2 Classic: Samsung may well have just created the best smartwatch going.

Huawei Watch: A truly elegant take in the crowded smartwatch space.

Sony Wena Watch: A smartwatch disguised as a dumb one. The secret to the Wena lies in its band.

Audio

JBL Everest Elite 700: $300 almost seems like a bargain for these terrific headphones. Almost.

Jaybird X2: The best wireless active headphones get even better with a slew of upgrades across the board.

Blue Microphones Mo-Fi: Blue hits it out of the park with its first foray into headphones.

Parrot Zik 3: Parrot's feature-filled Bluetooth headphones get even better.

Gadgets

Sphero BB-8: Sphero captures IFA's hearts and imaginations with a real-life version of the most eagerly anticipated droid from The Force Awakens.

Neato Botvac Connected: iRobot, eat your heart out. Neato's robtic vacuum line firmly lands at the forefront of the space with a built-in Wi-Fi module, letting users control it remotely via smartphone.

Panasonic Technics Turntable: OK, it's only a prototype, but we're already excited about Technics' impending return to the turntable market.

Epson's EcoTank Printers: Epson breaks the home printer game wide open with a new line of cartridge-free printers.

SanDisk Connect Wireless Flash Drive: A USB drive with built-in Wi-Fi for sharing across devices.

Polaroid Snap: What's not to love about Polaroid's return to instant photography?

Brewie: An at-home brewing system that actually makes great beer.
