You'll never experience a baseball game the same again.

Major League Baseball introduced its At Bat App for Apple TV during Apple's live event Wednesday, allowing users to click on a grid of baseball games and stream any of them instantly at 60 frames per second.

Wait ... it gets better. A simple click will open up full statistics, while shrinking the screen of the game, allowing viewers to soak in the numbers while still keeping an eye on the action. If there's more than one game of interest, the At Bat app also allows split-screen viewing. Two games streaming simultaneously at one time is pretty sweet and something that will be of unbelievable value during a pennant race.

Apple TV's tvOS also includes notifications, where the MLB can send you the heads-up about at-bats and highlights, opening up the split screen to take viewers to the action as it all unfolds.

More of a hockey person? No worries. Part of Apple's announcement is that the NHL Game Center live app will be arriving on Apple TV next year.
