Gamers in the West, specifically in North America and Europe, will soon experience the much-awaited Dark Souls 3. Publisher Bandai Namco promises the game will land on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in April next year.

In a press conference in Tokyo, the publisher said the Western release of the game will come soon after the Japanese release. This will also coincide with the game's release in Australia. Bandai Namco confirmed the game will be launched in Japan on Mar. 24, 2016. It did not say, however, the exact date of the release in the West.

The announcement was made prior to the Tokyo Game Show this week.

In July at E3, Tech Times got a closer look at what Dark Souls 3 has to offer to its fans. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the game's director, presented a hands-off demo, where he showed off Dark Souls 3's "dark hero" fighting with the enemies while traversing castle ruins.

In the event, some of the game's incredible graphics were seen. During the demo, Miyazaki emphasized that the game comes in cloth and ash mechanics, dynamic lighting, as well as open world.

The demo showcased what gamers can expect to see: murky dungeons, war-torn castles, and derelict buildings. Players also expect to use the following weapons as additions to the next installment: handy bow, dual-wielded blades, and swords of various sizes.

"Everything is designed to basically kill you guys," the game's director said to sum up the demo.

In June, Dark Souls 3 already debuted at Microsoft's Press Conference. In the same event, as we earlier reported, a new eerie trailer was publicly shown featuring a haunting score, massive beasts, as well as creepy monsters. During the event, the public failed to witness a gameplay.

The report was mentioned during the time when Miyazaki, the director of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, was in charge of the Dark Soul 3's development team. Miyazaki also directed the Dark Souls 2.

Earlier this year, a leaked video claimed that the next installment of Dark Souls will feature 10 character classes, 45 new enemies, 15 new bosses, 100 new weapons, and one hour of cut scenes. The leaked video also revealed that Dark Souls 3 will support up to four players.
