Pre-ordered units of Apple's new flagship devices, the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, are not expected to arrive until Friday, Sept. 25. However, a visual designer named Adrienne living in San Diego, California got a surprise, as the Rose Gold iPhone 6s that she pre-ordered from AT&T arrived a few days early.

Going by the username of @MoonshineDesign on Twitter, the lucky customer uploaded pictures of the Rose Gold iPhone 6s to her account, showing the device as she unboxed it and as she set up the smartphone.

Every year, Apple requests couriers such as FedEx and UPS to hold deliveries of new iPhones, to be released on the same day when the devices will be made available in retail stores. However, every once in a while, certain customers become lucky to receive their smartphones early due to logistics errors perhaps, on the end of the courier. Whatever the case, Adrienne received her Rose Gold iPhone 6s early, and official Twitter account of AT&T even congratulated her for it. Adrienne's puppy, which shown standing beside the Rose Gold iPhone 6s in the pictures of the smartphone, also received a compliment from AT&T.

In addition to the pictures of the smartphone, Adrienne uploaded screenshots of Geekbench 3 results for the iPhone 6s. The results reveal the device as beating the scores of the iPad mini 3, Retina iPad mini and the iPad Air 2, with the scores shown below:

Adrienne also took a couple of 4K videos with the smartphone's camera.

It is entirely possible that even more customers will be lucky enough to receive their pre-ordered units early as the week progresses. Apple usually does a good job of making sure that only a few at most are able to obtain the smartphones early, but some customers are claiming that their tracking numbers state delivery dates of Sept. 22.
