The Lenovo Vibe X3 shows up on a GeekBench benchmark test and reveals some of the tech specs of the handset.

A slew of smartphones have already been launched this year but more handsets are expected to make way to the market soon. Rumors of a number of Lenovo smartphones including the Vibe X3 and the Vibe P1 have been doing the rounds for quite some time and now the Vibe X3 has appeared on GeekBench.

According to the GeekBench results the Lenovo X3 being tested was running on Snapdragon 808, hexa-core CPU and 3GB of RAM. The handset was running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The smartphone achieved a GeekBench single-core score of 863, while the multi-core score was 3167.

Speculations of the Lenovo Vibe X3 have been surfacing in the smartphone space for many months. The handset has appeared on GFXBench and it has also passed through China's Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center, or TENAA.

Rumors have indicated that the Vibe X3 may have a 5-inch or a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution. While the latest GeekBench test results show the Vibe X3 running on a processor clocked at 1.44GHz, previous rumors have suggested that the handset may run on a 1.8GHz processor.

The upcoming Lenovo mobile phone is estimated to be equipped with a 21MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash. The phone is also expected to get an 8MP front-facing camera.

The Vibe X3 may include 32GB of on-board storage with the option to expand the memory using a microSD card. The phone is expected to have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and NFC connectivity.

The mobile phone may measure 154 x 76.4 x 9.4 mm and weigh 175 grams, or 6.17 ounces.

Lenovo remains silent about the release date and price of the Vibe X3. However, as the handset has appeared on Geekbench and GFXBench and also passed through TENNA, market experts believe that the Vibe X3 will be unveiled sooner than later.
