The CW released a new promo video for the upcoming Season 4 premiere of Arrow, which packs a lot of action into the space of 30 seconds.

We already know that this season has Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) living peacefully in a domesticated life free from fighting crime, while John Diggle (David Ramsey), Laurel Lance aka Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) and Thea Queen aka Speedy (Willa Holland) have taken the superhero's place in Star City. However, it doesn't take long for a new gang of baddies to come to town — which causes the team to track down Oliver and get him to return to his role as the Green Arrow.

In the new Season 4 teaser titled "Aim Higher," we get a look at the Green Arrow and his team of heroes actively protecting (the newly renamed) Star City. And it seems like just about everyone is getting in on the action. While the teaser moves quickly, pay close attention for a glimpse of Black Canary and Speedy. There are also explosions, lots of gun fire, and even a new motorcycle helmet.

"I am declaring my intention to fight for this city," the Green Arrow says in the promo.

But while we know he is back to protect the lives of the innocent, not everyone is happy about it.

"The monster you were inspired monsters," we hear Captain Lance say in the teaser, which then cuts to a brief shot of the villainous Damien Darkh (Neal McDonough). "I suggest you say goodbye."

Amell used Facebook's new live video feature to hold a Q&A with fans, revealing what fans can look forward to in Season 4.

"Highlights from the season so far: The new suit's really cool. I'd say that the stunt sequences that we're doing are bigger. I've really enjoyed the team aspect, I've really enjoyed Oliver's demeanor. The flashbacks, that we've kept completely secret, are really cool... that's been a big highlight," the actor said.

See Amell in action as the Green Arrow in the "Aim Higher" promo below. Season 4 of Arrow premieres on Wednesday, October 7 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
