Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are the company's most successful iPhone launch, with over 13 million sold in its first weekend of sales. Customers are now flooding online forums with videos and reports of major issues with the smartphone and phablet.

Shortly after customers began to receive shipments of last year's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, images and videos showed a major flaw in the company's latest iPhones. Weak points in the aluminum shell of the devices for some caused the smartphone and phablet to bend under pressure, and the term "Bendgate" quickly spread like wildfire across the Internet.

When images of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s' shells leaked, it became evident that "Bendgate" wasn't going to be an issue, as Apple's engineers strengthened the weak points that caused the issue for some.

Now that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are making their way to customers, many are reporting issues with the new 3D Touch display, Touch ID and power problems.

A MacRumors forum member posted several videos showing his iPhone 6s' 3D Touch display being completely unresponsive (seen below). A hard reset of the smartphone didn't resolve the issues, and the user subsequently contacted Apple and was advised to ship the smartphone to the company for repair.

Some iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users are reporting problems with the updated Touch ID sensor. Some users are reporting that the home button is overheating or not registering their fingerprint to unlock the device. A workaround, reported by several users, is holding down the power and home buttons for 10 seconds to reset the device.

Other users have reported that their iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are sporadically powering off for no reason during the night, causing them to miss alarms set for the morning, while others are experiencing spontaneous reboots.

Most users are able to resolve some of their iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus problems by performing a reset on the device, while more serious issues require a trip to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store or contacting Apple support and shipping the device in for repair.
