It was announced early in September that John Diggle will be getting his very own suit in time for the fourth season of Arrow. And according to his TV Guide Magazine interview, David Ramsey likes it.

Anyone of importance in the Arrow universe has a costume except for Diggle. So when it was revealed that Oliver Queen's friend and partner will be finally getting a suit of his own, it was only natural for Ramsey to be excited about it. In fact, he was so impressed by it, he admitted to not expecting his new look to be as well-conceived as it was, adding that he didn't think fans will be disappointed.

However, fans have other ideas.

When the first photo of Diggle's new suit was released, fans were quick to point out his helmet was highly similar to what Magneto wears for the X-Men series. To others even, he was like an oversized microphone. It's a drastically differently look for Diggle for sure, being that he is just a simple street-clothed enforcer during the previous seasons of the TV show, and Ramsey has accepted criticisms about, particularly the helmet, but he maintains that Magneto will be the last thing on the audience's mind when they finally see the suit in action.

"There is a very cool gun too. The gun and the helmet, by the way, are S.T.A.R. Labs creations," he added.

The last season of Arrow ended with Queen driving off into the sunset, more than ready to hang up his bow after all that insanity. Ramsey revealed in his interview that Diggle has been keeping things in order with help from Speedy and Black Canary while Queen and Felicity Smoke are away from Starling City.

Earlier in July, Queen got a new hood, making him look more reminiscent of the comic book character's classic look. Now, Diggle also has a wardrobe upgrade of his own, which also hints at the expansion of his capabilities in the TV show.

Season 4 of Arrow will be premiering Oct. 7 on The CW. Ramsey will be joined by Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, Katie Cassidy, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Brandon Routh, and Paul Blackthorne.
