Microsoft is soon unveiling the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones at an upcoming launch event, but rumors about the devices continue to emerge.

The latest report claims that the two flagship smartphones will come with a popular mobile game pre-loaded into the devices as part of a partnership signed by Microsoft.

Reports are claiming that the game is none other than King's Candy Crush Saga, which has players sliding candies to create matches that will take the candies off the board. The game features different stages and obstacles, along with power-ups that could make certain tricky stages less difficult.

Microsoft and King seem to have signed a deal for Candy Crush Saga to be pre-installed in the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, which will be powered by Windows 10 Mobile.

However, Candy Crush Saga will not be included in all the variants of the two flagship smartphones. The international version of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL was confirmed to have the game pre-loaded though.

It is also claimed that in addition to the game being pre-installed in the two devices, users will be allowed to uninstall Candy Crush Saga on the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

It should be noted, however, that Candy Crush Saga being pre-loaded on the devices and it being uninstallable are still rumors, so it is entirely possible that one or both pieces of information are not true.

If the game is truly pre-loaded on the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL it will most likely be an app that users can choose to uninstall. If not Microsoft could possibly face backlash from users on forcing them to keep a third-party app installed in their Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL, as users may not want to have the addictive game installed on their device for whatever reason.

While devices running on either Apple's iOS or Google's Android regularly have apps that could not be deleted by users, Windows Phone devices traditionally do not follow the trend.

The port of Candy Crush Saga into Windows 10 Mobile was first announced by King back in May, with the game even being bundled with a preview version of the operating system for a limited time. The decision to pre-install the game on the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL could be Microsoft's attempt to show a bridging of the gap between Windows Mobile apps and the apps available for iOS and Android.
