Apple has not officially revealed the battery size of its iDevices. However, the company suggests the usage time of iPhones. Per Apple's website, iPhone 6s Plus users can get up to 24 hours of talk-time on 3G and up to 16 days of stand-by time.

Operating System

The iPhone 6s Plus comes running on Apple's latest iOS 9 operating system, while the Lumia 950 XL will run on Microsoft's brand new Windows 10 Mobile platform.

Camera

The Lumia 950 XL packs an advanced 20MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front camera.

The iPhone 6s Plus is equipped with a 12MP iSight camera and a 5MP FaceTime camera. Although the iPhone 6s Plus has a smaller camera sensor its new Live Photo feature brings life to all images. Live Photos allow iPhone 6s Plus users to take still images, but also captures 1.5 second of video before the click and 1.5 second of video after the click.

Price and Availability

The iPhone 6s Plus has a starting price tag of $749 and is currently available via the physical Apple Store and other retailers in the U.S.

The Lumia 950 XL has a price tag of $649 and will be available starting November this year. The exact release date for the device remains unknown.

Both the Lumia 950 XL and the iPhone 6s Plus packs in top-end features to attract buyers who are looking for a high-end device. Customers who want to try the new Windows 10 Mobile OS and want the option of a microSD card slot may be inclined to purchase the Lumia 950 XL.
