The Xbox Store saw a bit of confusion earlier in October, as the Call of Duty Black Ops 3, suddenly no longer appeared in the store or in the pre-order availability.

A public statement from Activision attempted to ease the nervousness of the players, and the company assured that the matter was analyzed. A new surprise comes from the game developer, who seems it resolved the problem.

Today, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 was yet again ready to be preordered on the Xbox Store. Not only one, but two are available: the Digital Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.

This week, fans of the Call of Duty series received detailed info on the new Realistic difficulty mode. It places gamers in the boots of actual soldiers. This means that if they get shot once, they die. Game over.

It is expected for gamers to take a more tactical approach to the game when playing it on Realistic, which might increase the appeal for hardcore FPS players.

It should be noted that, for some consoles, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will lack the main campaign that some of the former games had. As the game was produced to fit with the next gen models, backward campaign compatibility with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was just too difficult to pull off. If you own one of the two versions of the game, you will be restricted to Zombie mode and online multiplayer.

In compensation for the no-campaign mode, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners get a price cut. Therefore, the basic price of the game will be $49.99 and will come with a download code for the first version of Black Ops.

For lucky gamers who own PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the campaign mode is unlocked from end to end. This means not only that you can choose the mission sequence, but you also have total freedom to venture in the fire blazing action either in single player or in co-op mode with 3 other friends.

On Nov. 6, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will be released globally, with versions for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
