For 2015, which marks the 30th year of the release of Robert Zemeckis' Back to the Future franchise, retro-tech from the beloved movie trilogy has been all the rage, granting a paroxysmal whammy of double-nostalgia for fans; the hoverboard has been receiving a lot of love, as well as Marty's power-lacing sneakers, to name a few.

Now, the automotive company Ford is stepping into the ring, offering up a flux capacitor for your very own car from the company, but with a catch or two: consumers can only attain the time-traveling device for their Focus or Fiesta between Oct. 21 and 26, the same days in which Marty McFly and Doc traveled in the movies, and the cost is over $1.2 million.

In the words of Doc, the flux capacitor "is what makes time travel possible!" — in the films, of course — outfitted in the classic Delorean used to transport either Marty and/or the madcap inventor to the 1950s, the Wild West or our very own year, 2015. 

The flux capacitor itself, if purchased, is placed on the dash, where Ford's SYNC infotainment screen is usually located — so, you might not have access to your GPS anymore, but if the price is any indication, the novelty item itself might indeed be worth it.
