Rumors of the OnePlus X have been doing the rounds in the smartphone industry for many months. The handset has now been spotted at a Chinese online store bearing a price tag of $249.

OnePlus has an upcoming event scheduled for Oct. 29 when the smartphone maker is speculated to unveil the OnePlus X handset.

The upcoming OnePlus X may also be called the OnePlus Mini. The smartphone maker has not yet confirmed the specs, price and availability of the OnePlus X but the Internet is full with rumored specs of the phone.

The handset was also spotted on OppoMart and had a same price tag of $249. The online retailer may have found the error and has been swift enough to remove the handset's listing. However, the Times News had taken a screenshot of the OnePlus X listing that appeared on OppoMart.

The OppoMart listing also indicated some hardware specs of the OnePlus X that matches with previous rumors. The listing suggests that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will sport a 5-inch full HD display with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and 3GB of RAM will power the OnePlus X. The OppoMart listing suggests that the OnePlus X will have 16GB on-board storage. It may be available with other storage capacities as well and with a higher price. The OnePlus 2, in comparison, is available with 16GB and 64GB internal storage.

While the bigger OnePlus 2 does not have a microSD card slot, the OnePlus X may come with the option of expanding the memory with a microSD card.

The OnePlus smartphone may be equipped with a 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper. Previous rumors have indicated that a 2,450mAh battery will power the OnePlus X, which will offer up to 10 days of standby time.

The OnlePlus X will come running on the Oxygen OS that is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Specs of the OnePlus X are very impressive for a phone in the mid-level category. Moreover, if the price of the handset is just $249 then it may attract many customers during the holiday season.
