An astrobiologist made a new argument about future Martian settlers, saying Mars colonists should be able to form their own culture independently from Earth. Counter-arguments say this might be impossible at the start, with Earth having to provide supplies and services, but the astrobiologist Haqq-Misra insists future Martian colonists should be given official Martian citizenship, outside of the Earth.
