The 12-carat Blue Moon Diamond, one of the rarest stones in the world, will be displayed at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles County. The gem was cut from a rough diamond unearthed from the Cullinan mine in South Africa, where the largest diamond was found about a century ago.
